Hangouts is trés amazing. Change NOTHING!!!

I struggled finding a way to easily communicate with my kids who are not all iPhone users. Hangouts works from all desktops and mobile devices so seamlessly (most of the time). Love it!

Whenever I start to type to reply to someone my message always disappears and I have I re type it and it’s just a pain because it’s every time, please fix this problem. Also it would be nice if we could changes the persons name like a nickname for them.

I absolutely love this app but every time I try to ft the sound goes bad and my friends say the same on their end, so please fix this other then that its great

Good app to make calls

I was invited by a guy on Facebook to this site. He sent me a photo of him then kept bugging me to engage in conversation when Im busy. This morning he sent a message he is going to kill me. This site has my home in its locater. That needs to go. I had to remove the app quickly, leaving another friend without explanation, just told him I was threatened.

This is the best app, omg I love it so much!!!

Hangouts is a great app that I use daily, however I really wish that thumbnails for links sent in chats would be made available. This way I wouldn’t have to actually click on a link in order to see what it holds. Thanks!

Idk it ok but not the best

It seems like it would be an ideal product. Looking to meet someone.

Hate this product and every other chat program out there.. Do you know how annoying it is to try and get work done while pop ups keep jumping up in front of you? Why do businesses allow this?

Its not working idk why

I got this app to talk to a friend I made online. The app worked perfectly fine until one day, it wouldn’t send my messages. I tried tapping the message over and over but it didn’t work. I’ve tried signing in and out of my account multiple times but that hasn’t worked either. My device and internet both work perfectly fine, so it’s not that. I don’t know if it’s just me having this problem but please fix it. I just want to talk to my friend. (P.S. I’m going to keep sending this review until someone answers why this is happening or until my google hangouts decides to work. Not trying to spam you or anything but I just don’t know what to do.)

Great app and all, but HELP! Every time i go on to sign into the hangouts app, it always says “cannot establish a secure connection”. I have wifi, and the wifi is in tip top speed, so it should have NO problems!

Great app!! I use this app bc i don’t get reception at home and this does a great job texting. When I’m away from home and want to do a mass FaceTime, this works great too!! I would recommend this app to everyone!

I had never heard of Hangout until someone who commented on Twitter referred me to it. After I started receiving messages from the individual, I realized the person had set up a fake (copied) Twitter account of someone else. They just added numbers behind the name. The individual attempted to gain personal monetary info from me as well as attempting to bilk money while (again) impersonating a famous person. I wanted to REPORT the problem so “owners” of this app would be aware. However, I could not find anywhere in app how to do that! There appears to be no safeguards in place for fraudulent accounts nor any way to register complaints/issues. It’s just another social media app where things could go wrong very quickly. Disappointed

I very much like it although I would like to figure out how to change the label you give someone. Maybe you can change it and I don’t know how, but all in all I like it!!!

It’s funny, on the Apple support boards everyone is talking about how stable google apps are, but for whatever reason, I’m getting spammed by alerts of messages for which I have already received alerts. The alerts are working backwards through time. So my most recent received message gets an alert. Ten to 15 minutes later it will re-alert. Then ten minutes after that the message prior to the last will re-alert and so on. This is typical of Google Beta garbage, and is now a nuisance.

This app is working great for me but I had many incidents of crashing when I place a video or audio call. One time, I disconnected a video call and it was still saying that Im on a call with other person. I had to close the app and reopened it and then it started crashing when I place a call.
