You cant hear the other person but you can see them and it freezes . sometimes the text you send doesnt go through.it doesnt work and I wouldnt recommend this for anybody

I have been using this app for about 3 months , has been working great, this new update on the other hand, if my screen is off the alerts do not go off, update the update plz. For whatever reason if the app is on my screen but the screen is off , does not work, when I return to my iPad turn the screen on the app appears and it says no internet connection, this is false. I always notice my wifi icon when I use this device no matter which screen or app I am in, even hangouts before this last update , love the app but not missing calls and messages so I give it a 1 out of 5

I love this app, its always great when I can stay in touch with my friends all the way in other countries! Just a few problems with crashing and overheating my phone, but thats only during video calls. Another small problem I noticed was the screen kept going black during video calls. Other than that this app is great and I can always stay in touch with friends.

Its good but if u open an app and ur talking the call ends. Id recommend it for free voice calls and video calls.

This app was the best! When you are on vacations and never see you friend you can write to them with this app

Google hangouts is awesome because I dont have a phone but I can still text, call and video call on my tablet and its sooooooooo easy you have no idea! So I think YOU should get google hangouts.

I love hangouts, but the only hang up is that when you take a photo on an iOS device it instantly sends the photo instead allowing you to approve the image or retake. Otherwise it is a great app.

Easy to use across all platforms. Cool to connect with friends in offices, on cell, any which way. One app that google rocked! So thats the default review that they wrote for me. Lol. But I agree. Easy to use and has some cute emoji type graphics. Wish it refreshed better with iPhones when used with droid users. Love the price. Heheh.

Great for messaging in general, but doesnt update if a message has been read on the desktop app so you have buttons on the iOS you need to manually clear even if youve read the message. Also theres still, still, no clear way to see whos online and who isnt. Pull your finger out Google!

Love this app and use it multiple times every day! It easily supports Intl comms via text, calling, while on the go, in my car, calling Europe, Asia from any US locale...love it! Small annoyance with the multi ringing across all my devices with the app loaded, even after Ive answered the call on one device.

Finally sharing has been added to the Share menu. What a time to be alive.
