When I was in middle-school I used this all the time, now that I am graduating high-school I strongly recommend getting Discord for a couple reasons: - Server owner has more control, can make admins and mute ban and kick members, hangouts doesnt have this at all - You can post a link to a chat (say your boss uses a twitter account and needs people to join a chat) - Way more customizability, changeable ringers, permissions, different voice channels if you are in a large group, etc; - Frequent updates and bug fixes - People can properly show up online/idle/do not disturb This isn’t a discord add or anything I’m just saying I strongly recommend it for anyone out there who needs more refined features in a chat application

In my opinion, hangouts is a good app. You can contact your friends and call them. It’s a good app to use if you’re doing a project so you can contact your partners.

It’s not cool because I keep on adding my account and it gets deleted

Hangout is a excellent app for texting and call/face time because, this way people who cant text, call, and face time can still connect using a device. In conclusion, Hangout is very useful.

I have an IPhone and my cousin has a Samsung, so we cant communicate with each other until we go this app, however this app takes up more room on my phone than any other app that I have and wont let me open it until I clear other things off of my phone to allow room for it. That is very annoying to me.

The hangouts is really good. But it should offer an Apple Watch app by now

- Need improvements to the dialer....the current design is dull and less intuitive... - Need deeper and seamless integration with the Contacts list to allow for automatic use of Hangouts/Google Voice, for international calls (like in Android) - Need better ring tone options...it just doesnt work... - Need a conference call feature... - Need full blown sms features- message forwarding, international sms support, sharing Apple passes etc...

It’s a good app, yes... on the other hand right now my hangouts are not sending any messages at all and it is really bothering me

So I’m using hangouts on an iPad Pro and I use it for group video conferences that I attend to every so often. Everyone in the group is able to send and receive messages in the group chat but I don’t receive the messages and they don’t receive mine? Why so?

I love this app. It’s extremely useful when you need to communicate with your loved ones, especially if they are far away. But one thing I would recommend: Can you make it possible to delete texts? I once sent one, but couldn’t delete it, even though I wanted to. Can you make that happen? But other than that, it’s a wonderful app.

Really good and easy way to talk to friends

Its good for if you have an apple iPod and your parents or someone you know has an android/google

This is an amazing app but there is one thing. Almost everyday it says taking too long to upload account. I check in a few minutes later still, and then an hour later still doing the same thing. Thats the only thing that needs approvment.

A widely useful app mainly for its integration with SMS and Google Voice numbers across a wide range of devices including desktop PCs, but inconsistent and missing some features that would make it a little efficient to use - for some reason theres no option to open YouTube links within Googles own YouTube app, which seems like an obvious oversight, and theres no real 3D touch options or an ability to reply directly from a notification. Its definitely lacking in features compared to Apples messaging application, but the versatility means its still my primary messaging app, at least until Google gets bored and replaces it with something else thats hopefully a bit more feature-rich.

Sometimes they don’t send

The app was okay, but this new update is awful. It crashes almost every time you make a phone call with it. It also wont let me send pictures anymore, it says it fails to send almost every time. Ive always had issues with this app, but this is by far the most annoying.

I love this app because its a good way too text people or talk to people if they don’t have a phone or if they don’t have data

This is good for having a group chat or so but it is a little confusing to add people on the app.
