Totally awesome app start with signing up through your Gmail account scrolling all the way down in your files folder section on the bottom on the left-hand side you will see Google Voice get a Google Voice telephone number read all the great features that come with it and all for free download Google hangouts app and boom there you go you know I have totally free phone service with totally awesome options and abilities in this totally three features it offers. And dont forget to download the Google hangouts dial pad app

I have been using Hangouts with my iPhone 7 and 7 plus. This app heats them up every time I use it and therefore drain the battery. There must be some bug somewhere. Please fix it! Otherwise, good call quality.

Hangouts is constantly not working and then it wants to start all over again within the app

Hangouts is such a good way to communicate, I use it even more than iMessage! It just needs tiny tweaks thought, for instance, you can’t tell if a person is writing back, which gets frustrating. But over all, it’s a great app, I recommend it!

Used to be able to receive phone calls but they’re not working lately in the app. It doesn’t even notify me when someone is calling. I tried re-downloading and double checked settings allow calls but still nothing :( Please fix this! I liked the app before this issue

Google Hangouts made it possible for me to FaceTime some of my friends that didnt have Apple phones. The reason I didnt give 5 stars is because you cant change the background when texting

App will open but won’t allow you to click a conversation. Have to close out the app and try again all the time. 50/50 if it’s going to work or not.

This app is really nice but I would like it more if there was a “report person” option for iPhones and iPod Touches in chats because there are some REALLY inappropriate people on here where I’ve tried everything but they just keep coming back. For example, there’s a person that found my friends email and is asking for pictures of her naked. I want to help but I can’t do anything but I can’t. Please ban this person.

This app has let me talk to long distance friends and lets me communicate to others I find it very nice to have and a better choice than other chat/video chat apps such as messenger or whats app

I trying to add call credit never getting access

Google hangouts is good, but its really glitchy when video chatting and you might say it’s your internet , but I just got my internet changed almost a month ago.Emojis don’t show up! But it’s free which is a plus and you don’t need a phone number and also it’s good making international calls because you don’t have to pay!?And that’s why google hangouts is okay

I wish -I could see the difference in people being available or away, yellow or green. -it had something to distinguish whether the person is on a video capable connection or not, like the camera showed in regular google chat. -I could choose whether to have the preview of what some people write show or not. -There could be different sounds for different people or groups, at least for favorites.

I used to lose all my groups and favorites every time the app did an update. I just got them all back now, though, so I hope they fixed it.

I cant believe this app is coded and developed by GOOGLE! This app crashes a lot, the keyboard gestures are very slow, and the notifications dont deliver properly. Fix immediately! Trash just pure trash.
