This app helps keep me connected with work colleagues even when I am away from my computer. It is great!

I have a iPod so I cant text my mom so I use this to text her ?

Interface feels pretty crufty by modern standards but it functions well enough. However, I give the app access to my contacts and names fail to show up.

Ive used Hangouts for years. Its really convenient, and an easy way to send text, pictures and video. However, when I am typing fast (which is most of the time) I accidentally send emojis more and more often. It drives me nuts. If my finger accidentally hits the emoji button, I dont notice fast enough to stop typing, so I send whichever stupid emoji that my fingers hit first. The emoji button should either be in a different location, or there should be an extra step to send one, like you have with pictures.

I mainly use this app with my PTO group. We discuss and plan everything here. Very convenient! Would be even better if you could write notes or secretly communicate with a particular individual inside of a group discussion.

Hangouts is helpful if you dont have a phone number and you can easily just go to the app and texting call FaceTime so cool.

Haha! Dont let the title make you think Im some murderer, or detective, or whatever. Its just that, most people dont know that I hangouts, and a few people know my password, so when I dont want people to read my messages, I can just go on hangouts. ~ Harmony

I like this app because it allows you to connect with everyone yuh need it to.

I dont get notifications when somebody calls me which is a problem.(I miss a lot of calls because of this.

Im blown away, this app makes communication from one device to another, super easy and fun with all the custom emojis/stickers! I reccomend this app! For sure a five-star review! ?

Used to love this app but more often then not it fails to notify me when friends message me, even though I have notifications enabled. Also, and Ive noticed this is only with iPhone users, when you take a picture, you dont have the chance to review it. It just sends the photo automatically which is annoying. Even though the app has regular updates, nothing seems to be improving.

Wonderful way to keep in touch with those on gmail. For my friends overseas this is one of my main ways of contact.

Video conference support is really powerful.

...if you use the app to send pics and video. After the update, all attempts to send pics/gifs/vids is met with an immediate "Failed to send" error. This was my favorite way to stay connected with my gmail contacts but sadly now it is obsolete without that function and I wish I had never done the update. I can still send messages and do video calls, otherwise I would rate it no stars :(
