Hangouts App Reviews

Displayed name switch randomly between names as listed on Google and assigned nicknames in contacts. Randomly logs out and fails to log back in, notifications are unpredictable. Aside from bugs, its a decent simple messenger app.

Of late, call quality has deteriorated. Persons dialed complain that call volume is too low, that there is an echo or sounds like I am on speaker phone. Unusable at this time until fixed!

Great app, I prefer this interface over the browser version. Clean design, everything is straight forward. Docking one star for constantly demanding that I write a review for them.

I use hangouts on all of my devices. Its so great. Video calls are nice and group chats are fun too.

Occasionally fails to notify.

Works pretty good to call free on any cell phone numbers in US and Canada, the only awkward thing is that caller ID not works on iPhone version.

You still can contact your loved ones if they have a Google phone

Ive been using hangouts since the news updates a few months ago or weeks I dunno and today I cant message one of my friends it always says message not sent please try again please fix this

I love that I can message people on my phone or computer and that I can make calls for free to Canada or the US. Sometimes I dont receive a notification on my phone if someone has replied to my message.

I dont get it MY FRIEND TELLS ME THAT ITS EASY TO MAKE AN ACC AND THE APP DOSENT EVEN SAY SIGN UP IT SAYS SIGN IN SO I CANT MAKE AN ACC PLUS I CANT EVENMAKE AN ACC ON COMPUTER CAUSE IS SAIS I CANT CHANGE THE COUNTRY AND IT SAIS WHAY BUISSNESS??? I dont HAVE A JOB I HAVE 0 EMPLOYEES????? FIXXX THISSSSS

Why still no split screen or even slide over view? Would make this app so much better!

Generally works great but regularly bugs, cant type anymore, app wont let me type certain letters on my ipad. This bug needs to be fixed.

It used to let me send but now I cant it just says failed to send and touch to retry

although Google Talk was the best ever light app, this app is best on IOS but GUI is not user friendly as it hide the icons on the green status bar ! Pls redesign good GUI
