I love the updates made and the integration of Google voice.

So cool that it works in sync with the desktop iphone and ipad! Super cool.

This is a great app, and it has only improved in the last couple of years. It works very well now.

If it wasnt for hangouts I wouldnt be able to talk to anyone being that my cell has no service where I live but w google hangouts I am able to forward my cell calls to my google number which I have set up for me to receive on my cell phone, I have been using this app since it was just called google talk.. I would give this app a ten star rating but they short me five stars to do so.. I even put money on my account so I could make a call to a friend in Mexico back in 2014 and I still have credit that I havent used on my account.. This is the one app I have used the longest since I want to say like 2012/2013 I highly recommend everyone to use this app if your cellphone service isnt the greatest in your area.. But you would need to have a wifi connection of some sort for it to work this app.. Love it ty for letting me share my love for this app

It is such a good messaging app to talk to friends and family. I also like how with the new update, Google Hangouts can actually make it possible to send video messages. I totally recommend this to anyone who would like to talk and text with anyone.

This was an okay app. Had connectivity issues and could barely hear. Good IM but that (...) typing caused drama from a relationship that is doomed with ("oh I see you typing...") lame.

Ive sent a dozen reports bout the app crashing and delaying msgs from being sent..and what do I get back for help? Nothing. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Goodbye forever hangouts. U just made me not keep in contact with all the friends Ive made on Google...

Never miss a message with this app. Works seamlessly on all phones and computers.

Google chat is the best. Lets me stay in touch with family and friends in other countries for free! Priceless.

Have been using this for a while without issues but this new version seems buggy. My Google Apps corporate account no longer shows my name or logo. Shows some pages account and different logo. I tried removing account and re-adding and same issue. Fortunately my Google Drive apps are still fine.

Hangouts works just "ok". I like that I can interact with my friends in the Google Universe, but the alerts are a little quirky sometimes and the video is MUCH WORSE than FaceTime.

I love the fact that I can make phone calls from my iPod with this app. Google voice is my landline. There have been times when I didnt have the luxury of a cell phone and hangouts has bailed me out. The app is easy to use for calls, as well as IM.

I had a Samsung and now I have an iPhone and it works on both really well.

I use this all the time its very good

The ux isnt unusually great, but it works. It is possible that a lot of the UX issues are due to apple, since this app is identical to many of the chat apps in the iPhone.
