My sister has a phone and I cant text her so this app HELPS SO MUCH! I love it you can even FaceTime and call on it! It is a lifesaver.

Im a 13 year old girl and I have two best friends, but we didnt know how we all were going to communicate during the summer because one of my friends broke their phone. I found this cool app and it solved our problem. It allows you to communicate through your computer and your phone. This is great because my friend that broke her phone could simply just use her computer to communicate with us.(that took forever to write)??????????????????

Its good but one day it started crashing, it never really worked since then. Please fix this

This app has made texting, and phone calls not only easy but cheap. Free calls to anywhere in the US and also Canada! Edit: After the recent update, missed calls do not show in the Notification area. Likely a bug which will be fixed soon.

I use it separately than texts with just my wife so her messages pop up separately. I love that it easily sends photos and gifs....its a perfect app.

Very neat app for texting and free calling. All the activity and history is a touch of a button away.

Hangouts is perfect for talking to my friends. I have an iPhone, so I can FaceTime, but only with Apple users. My best friend has an LG, so regular texting is actually pretty slow, and because Hangouts is over wifi we can send and receive texts extremely fast. We can also Video Chat, which is cool. The audio is pretty good, but the camera lags and sometimes doesnt show. But its pretty great, considering its free and you dont have to buy credits. Thanks so much Google!

Hangouts is so awesome because you could text FaceTime and even call and you only need a gmail email. It lets me communicate with other people and get to know them . 5 stars because its awesome

Love this app for personal and work. I use this app all the time from my iPhone to iPad and Mac to web browser. It keeps me syncd without missing the convo. It would be 5-stars with a few UI enhancements. - add delete to the slide and individual message menus (drill down is painful). - toggle message view between read an in-read. - add business function of hold and forwarding. - slide delete messages - add and sync contact info
