Really easy to,set up and easy to chat and call

It need Improvement I wish you could leave a voicemail its a great app I can talk to all my friends but I dont want to see other people text me on it need to have a blocked thing

Its a good app (especially with the addition of "Answer on lock screen") but can the below suggestions (in order of priority) be added to make it more functional: 1) Block spam voicemails. The GV app blocks spam calls and voicemails but the hangouts app only blocks spam calls. It still lets the spam voicemails through! 2) Fix continued ringing after the other party has answered the call. Calls between GV numbers sometimes keep on ringing after the other party has answered which makes it impossible to hear them clearly! 3) Move the option for listening to call audio on loudspeaker from a submenu to the main screen like the default iOS Phone app. 4) Add ability to search content of Hangouts messages, GV SMS/MMS messages, and GV voicemails. Functionality is in Gmail but please add to Hangouts app. 5) Make an Apple Watch app to answer/place calls and send messages. 6) Organize messages from the same contact on to the same thread regardless of whether its from different phone numbers or Hangouts profiles. The messages would then show up on one thread in time order. 7) Add ability to send and receive videos. 8) Add ability to reorganize favorites list. Also allow Hangouts to remember the favorites that are selected after logging out or updating the app.

A person who hasnt seen there cousin in years and finally finds a solution: Hangouts. I LOVE IT! You need to have google account though.

Love it! Literally I have been using it for so long and Ive never really had an issue! A LOT of people have a gmail so its so easy to hook it up with this! Plus sense so many people have a gmail its really nice to use if your friend or family member doesnt have a apple product and cant do face time. Though one thing along time ago there was face facefilters! But later on they went away and there were really funny! You could even draw on the persons face, it would be really cool if you could bring it back.

I give this 5 stars because I love this app so much! I have an iPad and some of my friends have a phone (thats not an apple) and I can text them on this! Its so helpful! And Fun to use!!!! The only thing I dont like is that you cant use it without wifi! Unless you have data! But, that doesnt bother me!

Very useful app it has free calls which I like a lot and it has a lot of features.

This app is ok with the exception of the extreme battery drain on the iPhone 7.

Using Hangouts in conjunction with my TracFone minutes stretches out the cost to a very low amount. Plus using Hangouts on wifi works great where no cellular signal exists. Thanks

Hangouts is super easy to use and it allows me to communicate with my friends, family and others that are not close to where I am. We can just text, call, or video chat with one another. Very cool. And its available on all of our devices no matter if its a computer, laptop, apple product or android.

I use it to talk to my friends and family. I love how you can video chat and call for free. My little sister likes to video chat my cousin on it and the quality is great! I love this app and I would totally recommend it if you need to text or call someone if you dont have there number!

I love the multi person video calling features. Starting to feel a little aged though. Could use a GUI update.

My brother and I chat on hangouts. Its very nice way to catch up or vent a little. You also have the option of sharing pics. You call and see the person too

I had no way of communicating my friends besides gmail before I downloaded Hangouts. The stickers r the BEST part! I recommend it! Also, I recommend they add a Hedgehog sticker section ( a CUTE, animated one, if possible)
