...fantastic!!!!!!

After dropping my phone in water. I quickly found the efficiency and clutchness of the hangout app since I have all my contacts on my iPad I was about to continue with business as regular.

i use only Google products on my iphone.

No hangups. And messages are always backed up on google.

Great way to communicate with a lot friends without texting

This app is so easy to use and good for in the go uses

Its ok but just like other apps people without good intentions are using it to scam people too. Just be careful of who you chat with because you can get hacked

I love this app because it works across devices, without having to have a cell phone number. I can also open it up on the computer at work and text while at work without having to be on the phone.

Best app ever. Use it all the time to chat with friends.

Great app! Family chats all the time... keeping in touch with family! Great during football season, so we can talk a little smack!!!

If you use G Mail you have to use Hangouts.

Its a very good app. Very easy to use.

Not all my friends have phones, most dont, and hangouts is a great way to talk to them. Its just like normal texting, but through a different app.

This is ok if you just want to chat and great that it has the ability to move between different gmail accounts. The calling requires serious improvement though - crappy voice quality and bad UI design. To make a call, I have to click on the phone icon, click on the floating number pad icon, click on the contacts icon and start typing the name. Seriously!? You need a new UX team. Also, please integrate the Google voice functionality in hangouts? Two different apps doing the same thing? Please, get better fellas!

Have been using hangouts for years among family members. Wish it has more emoji choices. But other than that, happy with everything else, especially the seamless integration with the desktop app. No other chat app is even close.

I love this app, a lot. It connects me with my friends who dont happen to have a phone. I use it everyday. But sometimes is doesnt notify me and I dont end up seeing my friends messages until 15 minutes later when I check the app. It doesnt buzz my phone, it doesnt send a text tone...I dont know whats wrong. I have made sure notifications are on and the group chat isnt muted. All Im saying is, if you have an important conversation, you better be checking the app every 3 minutes or so, or else you might miss their response for a long time.

Great app that could be so much better! I cant believe this still doesnt have support for CallKit and SiriKit! Answering calls from the lock screen is a pain but would be so easy with CallKit. I wish I could say, "Hey Siri, call _____ on Hangouts."
