i use for work

separates my personal number (static) from my work number (dynamic- can change my number in hangouts without affecting my personal phone number).
can record incoming calls which is great. it works as a receptionist so i get the person to state who they are (screen) before i press accept. voicemails go to email. works with my email, so, works with my computer- no cell needed.
i use it constantly for my work.
